Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales & Business Development Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sales, comfortable with outreach and prospecting, and excited to play a key part in generating new revenue opportunities for the company.
This position focuses on inbound lead management, outbound prospecting, and building relationships with homeowners, contractors, property managers and builders.
Key Responsibilities
Inside Sales
- Respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries via phone, web, email, and social channels
- Educate potential customers on garage door products, services, and solutions
- Create and deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and work orders
- Coordinate site visits and service appointments for field technicians
- Maintain a high conversion rate through consultative selling and follow-up
Business Development & Prospecting
- Identify and research potential residential sales opportunities
- Conduct outbound calling, emailing, and social outreach to generate new leads
- Build relationships with builders, contractors, HOAs, property managers, and real estate professionals
- Maintain a structured prospecting pipeline using CRM tools
- Assist in developing targeted outreach campaigns and partnerships
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain accurate customer records, notes, and activity logs
- Follow up on quotes and open opportunities to drive deal closure
- Ensure a positive customer experience from inquiry to installation
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of inside sales, business development, or customer service experience (construction industry experience preferred but not required)
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold calling
- Familiar with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, ServiceTitan, etc.)
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal oriented
- Ability to learn technical product details and explain them clearly to customers
- Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
