Garage Door Doctor has been serving the Charlotte area since 2005 and has built a reputation for quality workmanship, honest service, and exceptional customer care. We're growing and looking for an experienced Garage Door Technician who takes pride in doing the job right and treating customers with respect.
We're looking for someone who already has solid residential garage door experience and is interested in growing into commercial, sales or leadership roles. If you've worked in these areas, great. If not, we'll help you develop those skills.

What You'll Do
- Install residential garage doors and openers
- Diagnose and repair springs, cables, rollers, tracks, and operators
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every service call
- Educate customers on repair options without high-pressure sales
- Complete work orders accurately using our mobile software
- Assist with commercial sectional doors, rolling steel doors, and operators as your skills develop
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work safely at all times
What We're Looking ForRequired
- Minimum 2 years of garage door installation and service experience
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 100 pounds and work safely on ladders
- Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
Preferred
- Welding or fabrication experience
- Basic electrical troubleshooting
- Experience using ServiceTitan or similar field service software

Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- First appointment typically begins at 8:00 AM
- Rotating Saturday schedule (approximately every 4-6 weeks)
