We are seeking a Real Estate Appraiser to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating properties to determine their market value, conducting research to analyze the area's real estate market, and providing accurate and detailed reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of real estate appraisal methods and techniques, as well as an understanding of the local real estate market.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate real estate market data for use in mass appraisal.
- Research local market trends and economic conditions.
- Collect property inventory using satellite imagery
- Utilize published real estate data to verify sale information.
- Some travel/field work required
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of NYS RPSv4 Database helpful.
- Experience with assessment of real property in NYS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- NYS Appraisal license or trainee
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Clifton Park, NY 12065
Salary : $48,900 - $61,900
