Duties
- Assist with the preparation of menu items, including rice bowls, Korean plates, bibimbap, sauces, and other signature dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, portioning, and organizing food items for daily service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, storage areas, and equipment throughout each shift.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory while communicating supply needs to management.
- Support efficient service during high-volume lunch, dinner, and event periods within the food hall.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- Work closely with front-of-house team members to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Contribute to a positive, welcoming atmosphere for guests and fellow team members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, food hall, quick-service, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with food preparation, line cooking, or kitchen operations is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain professionalism during busy service periods.
- Interest in Korean cuisine and culture is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
