About The Role
The Software Engineer (Game Development) builds the production software that powers our slot products from concept through casino deployment. This role is responsible for writing, structuring, and delivering game code that performs reliably in regulated, high-volume gaming environments. You will translate approved game designs into working, certification-ready titles within our slot platform architecture. This is a delivery-driven engineering role. The expectation is ownership, execution discipline, and production accountability.

About The Role
The Software Engineer (Game Development) builds the production software that powers our slot products from concept through casino deployment. This role is responsible for writing, structuring, and delivering game code that performs reliably in regulated, high-volume gaming environments. You will translate approved game designs into working, certification-ready titles within our slot platform architecture. This is a delivery-driven engineering role. The expectation is ownership, execution discipline, and production accountability.
What You’ll Do
- Develop game software in C 17 within our slot platform framework
- Implement game logic, bonus features, paytable behavior, animation triggers, and state management systems
- Integrate mathematical models into functional game architecture
- Translate functional and technical design documentation into structured, efficient, maintainable code
- Optimize software for performance within gaming hardware constraints
- Debug and resolve complex defects throughout development, lab, and certification cycles
- Participate in structured code reviews and technical design discussions
- Collaborate closely with Art, Audio, Mathematics, QA, and Technical Compliance
- Communicate product status, and key issues to key constituents across the organization including managers, technical lead, Artists, QA, and others
- Ensure all deliverables align with jurisdictional and regulatory requirements before submission
- Games move through development and certification without preventable rework
- Feature implementation is precise no disconnect between math, design, and execution
- Code is efficient, stable, readable, and scalable
- Development timelines are met through disciplined execution
- Technical risk is identified early and addressed proactively
- Collaboration across R&D functions is efficient and professional
- Deadlines are met without compromising quality
- 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in C 17 in production environments
- Experience in an Agile/SCRUM environment
- Demonstrated experience contributing to shipped commercial software products
- Solid understanding of objectoriented design principles
- Experience working within structured development processes and version control systems
- Strong debugging and systemslevel problemsolving ability
- Ability to independently interpret technical documentation and deliver against defined requirements
- Selfstarter, selfsufficient, and selfreliant to accomplish required tasks
- Accountable to deliver quality products consistently and on time
- Must have “will get it done” work ethic. Never “why we can’t”, always “how can we”
- Development experience in regulated or compliancedriven environments
- Exposure to embedded systems or hardwareconstrained platforms
- Experience within gaming, interactive entertainment, or realtime systems
- Linux experience
- JIRA, GIT experience
