Duties
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Supervise daily operations including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Manage scheduling and shift assignments to optimize staff coverage and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize shrinkage.
- Utilize retail math for pricing strategies, budgeting, and sales analysis to drive profitability.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager on marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment that reflects brand standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with strong leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and team members effectively.
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and basic bookkeeping practices.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and merchandising.
- Ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in employee orientation, interviewing, training & development, and team management.
- Knowledge of retail sales strategies, pricing techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
