Founded by Jael Thorpe in 2021, and an officially certified woman-owned company, we aim to “elevate the social fan experience through licensed collaborations.” We have grown rapidly through innovative design, outstanding quality and developing key retailer and licensing relationships across the country.
Gameday Social is seeking a driven, high-performing Account Executive to drive growth within our B2B business. This position will be responsible for implementing selling strategies that aim to increase revenue while creating brand loyalty. In addition, it has a focus on customer contact, proactive communication, and overall satisfaction of the day-to-day business needs. The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated, able to learn quickly, and can effectively balance multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact while maintaining regular, proactive communication with new and existing customers.
- Establish and execute the sales plan to achieve both monthly and annual revenue goals.
- Collaborate closely with the assigned customer list to ensure all business needs are met.
- Maintain a regular check-in cadence with customers to gather direct feedback, gauge product performance, and ensure the customer feels highly valued.
- Manage inbound inquiries and conduct outbound calls with customers to continue driving revenue.
- Accurately enter orders and communicate with customers regarding all orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure customers understand the ordering process, timelines to submit orders, and any replenishment opportunities throughout the year.
- Comprehend and know how to communicate the sales initiatives shared by the company.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities within the collegiate, lifestyle, and pro-sports retail channels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a B2B sales environment with direct customer contact.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related field.
- Demonstrated track record of managing accounts or building customer relationship trust.
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding established performance metrics.
- Proven success in developing and managing direct customer relationships.
- Maintains a strong sense of professionalism at all times.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in B2B sales or customer service.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and projects in a timely manner.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace.
- Location: On-site in Gameday Social - Sioux Falls, South Dakota
- Compensation: $52,000
