What are the responsibilities and job description for the Screen Printing Operator position at Galls LLC?
Screen Printing Press Operator
Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
Pittsburgh, PA (Neville Island)
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Start presses and pull proofs to check for ink coverage and density, alignment, and registration
- Examine job orders to determine quantities to be printed, stock specifications, colors, or special printing instructions
- Set up & operate automatic screen printing machines
- Prepare shirts to be printed
- Verify that ink meets the specifications for a given job
- Remove shirts from press
- Inspect shirts to ensure high quality and print
- Monitor automated press operation systems and respond to fault, error, or alter messages.
