Duties
- Set up and calibrate embroidery machines according to design specifications and production requirements
- Operate multiple embroidery machines efficiently, maintaining high productivity levels
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime
- Ensure accurate placement and alignment of designs on garments or fabric items
- Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to design standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Document production details, including quantities completed and any machine adjustments made
Experience
- Prior experience operating embroidery or sewing machines in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred but will train
- Knowledge of garment construction and sewing techniques enhances your ability to produce top-quality work
- Familiarity with sewing machines and general sewing skills are beneficial for understanding machine mechanics and troubleshooting
- Previous warehouse experience helps in managing workflow efficiently within a fast-paced environment
