Galloway Johnson Tompkins Burr & Smith is seeking a litigation associate with approximately 4 years of experience to join our Dallas office and take on a meaningful role within a fast paced, sophisticated defense practice. This position is ideal for an attorney who takes ownership of their work, exercises sound judgment, and wants to build a long-term career as part of a collaborative litigation team. Our Dallas practice focuses on third party personal injury and construction defect matters, with exposure to general liability, wrongful death, premises liability, and trucking and transportation cases.
The ideal candidate is comfortable managing files with minimal oversight and understands the demands of a busy defense docket. Strong writing and analytical skills are essential, along with significant experience handling discovery and law and motion practice. Deposition experience is preferred, and trial experience is a plus. We’re looking for someone who is sharp, dependable, and able to contribute immediately, while continuing to develop as a litigator.
