Junior Architect / Designer I
An award-winning, design-focused architectural firm is seeking a Junior Architect / Designer I to join our team. We are a small, collaborative, and innovative practice working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, retail, healthcare, and residential projects.
This role offers the opportunity to be involved in all phases of a project, from initial concept through construction. At our firm, team members take ownership of their work and are supported in developing professionally while contributing meaningfully to the success of each project.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare architectural drawings, construction documents, and presentation materials
- Develop 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit
- Participate in space planning, design development, and material/finish selection
- Research building systems, materials, and products
- Analyze building codes, zoning requirements, and site constraints
- Support preparation of renderings and client presentations
- Review shop drawings and assist during construction administration
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and team members
What We’re Looking For
- Accredited degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
- 1–5 years of professional experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Strong design, graphic, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks
- Understanding of building systems, construction documentation, and codes is a plus
