Galley Hatch is looking for a friendly, organized, and energetic Host/Hostess to be the first smile our guests see. As the face of our restaurant, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming experience while keeping our dining room running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Greet every guest with a warm and genuine welcome.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable.
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally and assist guests with reservations, questions, and takeout inquiries.
• Coordinate seating to ensure an efficient flow throughout the restaurant.
• Communicate effectively with servers and managers to maintain smooth service.
• Keep the host stand, entrance, and waiting area clean, organized, and inviting.
• Assist with guest requests and help create an exceptional dining experience from start to finish.

What We're Looking For

• Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable using computers and learning reservation software (OpenTable experience is a plus).
• Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
