What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vape and Smoke Retail Associate position at Gallery Smoke?
Gallery Smoke is a fast-growing retailer seeking knowledgeable Retail Sales Associates. We offer a service-oriented customer experience in buying high-quality glass, smoking products, state of the art herbal vaporizers and Botanicals. You MUST have an understanding of smoke shop etiquette and a desire to learn and master new products.
While applying for this position understand that Gallery Smoke has four retail stores located throughout Birmingham and Hoover.
- MUST BE FLEXIBLE; The store is open seven days a week, nights, and weekends.
- Cash register experience AND money counting experience preferred. Must be able to work with a small team, take direction from others, but also be motivated to stay busy and excel on your own.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to: running a cash register and balancing money at the end of the shift, basic janitorial and stocking duties, and being an expert on all products sold in the store.
- Must be able to lift 30lbs, AND have reliable transportation. We are a small team, and we are looking for people to join for the long term.
- Pay starts at $13.00 an hour. There are opportunities for growth within this company. Your position in falls largely on how dedicated you are to learning the products and can properly demonstrate and sell them.
