Duties

• Assist customers with pawn loans, sales transactions, and product inquiries using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on store merchandise to enhance sales opportunities.
• Manage cash register operations, handle cash drawer balancing, and process retail transactions accurately.
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented to attract customer attention.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering upselling suggestions, and maintaining professional phone etiquette.
• Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure smooth store operations.
• Perform inventory counts, restocking tasks, and maintain store cleanliness to uphold merchandising standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred; familiarity with retail math and cash handling is essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions.
• Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus; ability to motivate others and ensure excellent customer service standards.
• Knowledge of retail store product displays, merchandising techniques, and basic math skills for cash handling.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive shopping experiences.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise as needed, and work flexible hours including weekends.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.50 per hour
