Essential Duties/Responsibilities include some or all of the following:
- Sell company services and equipment to new and existing customers.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to position the company as a preferred supplier and strategic partner.
- Identify, generate, and pursue new business opportunities and leads.
- Ensure inclusion on approved supplier and bidder lists with key customers.
- Attend bid meetings and customer presentations.
- Review bid packages with management, estimating, engineering, and operations teams.
- Determine project approach, strategy, and concept to develop competitive bids.
- Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and operations to support pricing and proposal development.
- Assist in preparing and completing bid proposals, including forms, clarifications, and exceptions.
- Review proposals for accuracy, scope alignment, and commercial terms.
- Ensure timely receipt and review of purchase orders.
- Verify that project scope and pricing align with the finalized agreement.
- Attend and lead project kick-off meetings and support project handoff to operations.
- Act as the primary customer liaison throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project changes, including pricing and scope adjustments.
- Participate in feasibility and clarification meetings as required.
- Communicate customer addendums, updates, and schedule changes to internal teams.
- Provide project bulletins, field orders, and relevant updates to stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to sales processes and customer engagement.
- Some travel is required to support customer meetings, job sites, and industry events.
- Regular attendance at work is an essential duty.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to customers and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and technical sales processes preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, bid documents, and customer requirements.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams.
Education, Experience, and Training:
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year), preferably in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sales experience within the automotive industry, including working with consultants, contractors, and OEM customers. HVAC equipment sales experience strongly preferred.
- Training: None.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Frequent travel, including visits to customer sites, offices, and job locations.
- Occasional standing, walking, and participation in on-site meetings or project reviews.
