We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service & Installation Technician to join our growing team.
Position Overview The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with fire sprinkler service, troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and installation. We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and maintaining life safety systems to the highest standards. Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of fire sprinkler service and installation experience
- Experience servicing, troubleshooting, and installing commercial fire sprinkler systems
- Knowledge of NFPA codes, fire sprinkler standards, and installation procedures
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- NICET certification or equivalent fire sprinkler certifications
- Experience with commercial wet, dry, pre-action, and related fire sprinkler systems
- State of Michigan fire sprinkler industry experience
- OSHA safety training
Responsibilities
- Perform inspection, testing, service, repair, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems
- Install and service fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial facilities
- Diagnose and repair sprinkler system deficiencies efficiently and professionally
- Complete accurate service documentation and reports
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes and company standards
- Maintain positive customer relationships while representing Gallagher Fire Equipment Co.
