Overview
Licensing Coordinator performs various support functions as part of the general licensing department operation as directed by manager or supervisor. Maintains effective and ongoing communication with the field offices, management, state contacts and vendors.
Location: Remote
Please note this role is non-exempt (hourly).
How you'll make an impact
The Essential functions of this role are:
- Direct and effective oral and verbal communication with field offices, management, state contacts and vendors
- Lead and complete projects as assigned by supervisor/manager
- Create licensing/certification tracking reports and maintain information in spreadsheets
- Monitor continuing education, licensing processes and licenses held
- New Hire/Termination Processing
- Research state requirements/update internal processes/documents accordingly
- Complete licensing audits (state/carrier/client requests)
- Assist with business entity license processes
- Answer calls/email inquiries
About You
Requirements:
- Previous experience in office administration and knowledge of insurance – preferred
- Experienced in fast paced, detail oriented, multitasking role
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge required
- Above average verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and proceed with objectives given by Supervisor/Manager
- Attention to Detail and ability to perform simple audits
- High School or equivalent Education
