A well-established Top100 retail garden center is seeking a part- time Warehouse Associate,
The following are skills and requirements for this position
Responsibilities
- Assist in loading, repackaging, inventory, and maintenance;
- Loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks;
- Build loads using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack;
- Comply with shipper/receiver documentation;
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment;
Properly organize warehouse to ensure all material is accessible, countable and identifiable;
- Maintain inventory levels, and return excess materials;
- Assist in processing and pricing inventor
- Complete packing slips, pick lists, job close out paperwork
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 years’ experience in a warehouse/ distribution environment with knowledge of hazardous materials shipping procedures
- Able to stand for more than half a given shift or Workday, lift or maneuver 40 lbs.
- Working with a forklift and typical warehouse and shipping methods and tools· Working in a team setting with a detail and safety-oriented mindset
