Wireless Architect (Automation Exp)
Location: Santa Clara, CA (Day 1 Onsite)
We are looking for a seasoned Wireless Architect / Wireless Network SRE with strong expertise in RF design, 802.11 protocols, and network automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise wireless networks (WiFi / WLAN)
- Handle RF planning & optimization (EIRP, SNR, coverage)
- Lead automation and monitoring initiatives using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Ansible
- Manage incident response, outage resolution, and performance tuning
- Work with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers
Required Skills:
- 10 15 years of network/wireless engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of 802.11, RF fundamentals, WPA, Radius, EAP, 802.1X
- Hands-on with wireless controllers (Mist, Cisco, Aruba)
- Experience with Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE
- Expertise in monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Nautobot)
- Familiarity with wireless tools (Ekahau, Hamina, Aruba UXI, 7Signal, WyeBot)
- Strong Linux/Unix knowledge
- Scripting skills in Python / Perl / Bash
Good to Have:
- Experience in network automation & SRE practices
- Exposure to asset management tools (Nautobot)
