AMS Lead:
The Salesforce Technical Lead is responsible for leading the Salesforce platform maintenance along with design and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions. This role acts as the technical expert on Salesforce platform overseeing AMS team enforcing coding best practices, guiding architectural decisions, and ensuring high quality implementations across Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and integrations. Leading to maintain and customize Financial services domain project implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of Salesforce platform ensuring solutions meet performance scalability and security standards.
- Oversee and mentor Salesforce developers and administrators providing guidance on standards and best practices.
- Well versed with hands on experience on Apex, LWC, integrations and CI/CD
- Review solution designs and technical specifications before development begins
- Own the technical backlog and coordinate with product owner to align technical priorities
- Code review to enforce and ensure quality is consistent and continuous.
- Solution Design Development
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications with Solution designs and data models
- Lead the team to develop high quality reusable components using
- Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, LWC, Flows, automation tools and SOQL/SOSL queries
ii.Design secure and scalable sharing models permission sets and roles
- Integration Ownership
- Architect and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using
- REST SOAP APIs
- Middleware integration
iii. Event driven patterns, Platform Events Streaming API
- Troubleshoot integration failures in production and optimize performance as needed.
- Governance and Best Practices
- Establish to enforce and evangelize Salesforce development best practices coding standards and DevOps processes
- Conduct code reviews unit testing and technical QA
- Ensure compliance with org limits, governor limits and Salesforce security guidelines
- Cross Functional Collaboration
- Work with enterprise architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to validate feasibility of requirements
- Convert functional requirements into technical tasks for the development team
- Support UAT cycles resolve defects and facilitate knowledge transfer
- Documentation Support
- Create and maintain technical documentation including
- Data flow diagrams
- API specifications
iii. Deployment guides
- Coding standards
- Provide L3 support for complex production issues
Required Qualifications
Experience
10 years of hands on technical experience working with Salesforce
6 years leading Salesforce AMS/development teams
At least 1-2 projects in financial services domain/customers.
Experience working external customer facing portal applications.
Hands-on experience with enterprise level Salesforce implementations
