Key Responsibilities
Backend Engineering & API Development
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python (3.x)
Build robust APIs using Django, Flask, and FastAPI
Develop reusable components, custom middleware, and high-performance services
Ensure adherence to RESTful standards and best practices
Architecture & System Design
Lead the design and implementation of microservices and distributed systems
Drive architectural decisions, technology selection, and platform evolution
Ensure systems are scalable, resilient, and secure
Database & Data Engineering
Work extensively with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
Perform data modeling, query optimization, and transaction management
Design efficient data pipelines and ensure data integrity across systems
DevOps & CI/CD
Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
Promote DevOps best practices for reliability, scalability, and monitoring
Collaborate with infrastructure teams on cloud and deployment strategies
Production Support & Problem Resolution
Lead troubleshooting of complex production issues across systems
Analyze performance bottlenecks and optimize system efficiency
Ensure high availability and reliability of applications
Leadership & Collaboration
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, product teams, and architects
Drive code quality, best practices, and engineering excellence
Required Skills & Qualifications
10 years of experience in software development with strong focus on Python
Hands-on expertise in Django, Flask, FastAPI
Strong experience in REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
Deep knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, and relational databases
Proficiency in PL/SQL and query optimization
Experience with CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and automated testing
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in complex environments
Good to Have
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems
