Galbraith’s Landscaping & Lawn Care is currently celebrating our 75th year as a locally owned and growing company serving both residential and commercial customers. To support our continued growth, we are hiring a Receptionist / Office Support person to work closely with teams to both help manage our incoming customer contacts and help manage the day-to-day organization of the business.
Position Overview
The main role of this position is focused on being the communications hub between our customers and our teams. In our business, handling customer calls efficiently and making sure our teams provide timely follow-up is the key to success. This position also is an integral part of our accounts receivable process by organizing, managing, and contacting our customers to assist them with paying their open balances.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage daily correspondence.
- Maintain and organize the accounts receivable process.
- Coordinate our team’s response to customer requests.
- Track open invoices and follow up with customers.
- Work through our customer service software to ensure all customer requests are directed to and completed by the service teams.
- Provide professional and timely customer service.
- Keep files, records, and project details organized and accessible.
- Assist with reports, checklists, and special projects.
- Help improve organizational systems to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a personal assistant, executive assistant, receptionist or in a similar role (experience in landscaping, construction, or service industries is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and business software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable to changing priorities.
