What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service BDC Automotive Appointment Scheduler position at Galaxy Toyota?
Our busy automotive dealership repair center is looking for a friendly and dependable BDC Appointment Scheduler to join our team here at Galaxy Toyota. This role focuses on helping customers book service appointments and keeping our schedule running smoothly. Most of your day will involve handling inbound calls and making outbound calls to schedule maintenance, repairs, and recall services.
No advanced experience required—just a great attitude, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
Duties
- Make roughly 100 outbound calls per day to schedule maintenance, recall, and repair appointments.
- Handle inbound calls from customers needing to book or adjust service appointments.
- Confirm upcoming appointments and follow up with customers who missed or need to reschedule.
- Enter and update customer information in the scheduling system accurately.
- Communicate customer needs to service advisors and team members.
- Provide friendly, consistent customer service on every call.
- Meet daily and weekly call and appointment goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clear, professional phone communication skills.
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling.
- Basic computer navigation skills; ability to learn dealership software.
- Reliable, organized, and able to follow established processes.
- Customer service or call center experience is helpful but not required—we will train the right person.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
