As a Collections Specialist, you will play an important role in resolving outstanding account balances, documenting account activity, and delivering a positive customer experience while following established compliance standards. Your role in our mission

  • Manage inbound and outbound account communications to resolve outstanding balances and support timely account resolution.
  • Document customer interactions, payment arrangements, and account updates accurately in client systems.
  • Review loan and account details to confirm accuracy, authorization, and compliance with client guidelines.
  • Use approved tools and systems to process updates, support payment activity, and maintain complete account records.
  • Provide professional, respectful service while balancing quality, productivity, and compliance expectations.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years of experience in collections, credit, account resolution, or related financial operations.
  • Familiarity with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other related compliance standards.
  • Experience handling inbound and outbound calls, preferably in a high-volume or automated dialing environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills with the ability to manage sensitive conversations professionally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and navigate business systems quickly and accurately.

  • 100% onsite role located at 313 Blettner Blvd., Madison, WI 53784.
  • Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, during standard Central Time business hours.

The pay range for this position is [[salaryMin]] - [[salaryMid]] per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
