Position Summary
The Floater Assistant provides support where needed throughout the center, helping maintain smooth daily operations and ensuring classrooms have the assistance they need to provide high-quality care and education.
Responsibilities
Assist teachers in classrooms with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or VPK as needed- Supervise and engage children during activities, transitions, and outdoor play
- Support classroom routines, learning activities, and supervision
- Help maintain clean and organized classroom environments
- Provide coverage during staff breaks or absences
- Build positive relationships with children, staff, and families
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required- Experience working with children required
- Must meet Florida DCF training requirements
Flexible, dependable, and comfortable supporting multiple classrooms - Positive team attitude and willingness to help where needed
