Professional Cleaners – W-2 Employees & Independent Contractors
Gainesville Cleaning Provisions (GNVCP)
Location: Gainesville, FL & surrounding areas
Pay: $16–$20/hour for W-2 employees | Independent contractors up to $35/hour equivalent depending on project
Gainesville Cleaning Provisions is growing! We are looking for dependable cleaning professionals to join our team, as well as experienced independent contractors and established cleaning teams for larger and specialty projects.
We are currently hiring for TWO separate opportunities:
1. W-2 Cleaning Team Members | $16–$20/hour
We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented cleaners for residential, commercial, and janitorial cleaning.
Responsibilities may include:
- Residential and commercial cleaning
- Routine janitorial services
- Move-in/move-out and deep cleaning
- Cleaning kitchens and restrooms
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
- Dusting and sanitizing surfaces
- Trash removal
- Following cleaning checklists and site-specific instructions
We're looking for candidates who:
- Are dependable and punctual
- Have strong attention to detail
- Have reliable transportation
- Can work independently and with a team
- Have a working smartphone for communication
- Can perform the physical requirements of professional cleaning
- Can pass a background check
- Have flexible availability
Professional cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider reliable candidates who are willing to learn.
Pay: $16–$20/hour based on experience and qualifications.
2. Independent Cleaning Contractors / Cleaning Teams
We are also looking to partner with experienced independent cleaning contractors and established cleaning teams, particularly for post-construction cleaning and larger projects.
These opportunities require post-construction cleaning experience.
Ideal contractors will:
- Have demonstrated post-construction cleaning experience
- Have an established cleaning team or the ability to staff larger projects
- Have reliable transportation
- Have their own cleaning equipment and supplies as required
- Be comfortable completing larger commercial and project-based jobs
- Be able to meet agreed-upon deadlines and quality standards
- Provide appropriate business and insurance documentation when required
Compensation: Project-based rates with earning potential equivalent to up to $35/hour, depending on experience, project scope, and requirements.
