SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor

SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor
Essential Functions
- Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance.
- Installs and repairs electrical wiring and replaces lights.
- Assists with installation and repairs of HVAC equipment.
- Installs and repairs kitchen equipment
- Assists with maintenance of energy management system.
- Keeps abreast of new technology related to cabling, wiring, etc.
- Keeps the maintenance supervisor informed about work in order to insure an efficient operation.
- Demonstrates precautionary measures to ensure safety when working with ladders and scaffolds.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Works effectively and cooperatively with administrators, teachers and staff.
- Handles all duties in a timely and organized manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Follows safety requirements.
- Maintains clean and organized work vehicle.
- Maintain acceptable driving record (driving record checked yearly).
- Maintains equipment and tools.
- Works in an effective and safe manner.
- Climb, kneel, crunch.
- Works indoor/outdoor.
- On call driving, after hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Assist in yearly safety inspections.
- Adheres to all policy and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medium Work: Occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, and/or moving 10-25 pounds frequently.
- Heavy Work: Occasionally lifting up to 75 pounds, and/or frequently moving 25-50 pounds, and/or constantly moving 10-20 pounds.
