Norton's Restaurant in Green Lake, WI (now under Gage Marine's family of businesses!) is hiring dishwashers to join our back-of-house team! Dishwashers play a vital role in keeping our kitchen and dining operations running smoothly by ensuring all dishware, glassware, and utensils are clean, sanitized, and ready for service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all items are organized and stored properly.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients.
• Support kitchen staff by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes during busy service periods.
• Adhere to health and safety standards by following proper sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
• Participate in regular cleaning tasks, including deep cleaning of kitchen equipment and areas.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with culinary practices, catering operations, or hospitality settings is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Willingness to learn and assist in various kitchen tasks as needed.

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions are available. We offer flexible scheduling (student-friendly). Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
