Job Description – PTC Windchill Software Engineer (AI-Native PLM)
- Seeking an experienced PTC Windchill Software Engineer to design and develop AI-driven, agentic PLM and NPI automation workflows.
- Build AI-enabled solutions for part creation, classification, metadata enrichment, BOM generation, validation, and engineering change processes.
- Develop and customize PTC Windchill applications using Java, Windchill APIs, workflows, services, and event frameworks.
- Configure and enhance Windchill objects, lifecycles, workflows, attributes, access controls, and business rules.
- Automate part creation processes with MDM integration, validation, compliance checks, and audit traceability.
- Develop intelligent BOM management solutions including generation, validation, comparison, and downstream integration.
- Automate Engineering Change Requests/Notices with impact analysis, routing, approvals, and implementation workflows.
- Build integrations between Windchill and enterprise systems including MDM, sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, and order execution platforms.
- Implement human-in-the-loop AI controls, explainable recommendations, and governance mechanisms.
- Optimize Windchill performance, scalability, and supportability for large-scale PLM environments.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to deliver production-ready AI-enabled PLM solutions.
- Required expertise: PTC Windchill development, Java, PLM processes, enterprise integrations, workflow automation, and AI/ML-enabled solutions.
