What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hostess / Maitre'D position at Gabriella's Italian Steakhouse?
Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To:
- Answering Phones
- Greeting All Guests Upon Arrival & Departure
- Escorting Guests to their Assigned Tables
- Booking, Confirming & Managing Reservations
- Communicating Necessary Information with FOH Employees
- Maintaining Cleanliness/Organization of Hostess Stand, Menus & All Materials
- Adhering to All FOH & Hostess Policies & Procedures
Ideal Skills:
- General Understanding of Restaurant Etiquette
- Familiarity with Health and Safety Regulations
- Demonstrable Customer Service Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills (Via Phone and In-Person)
- Strong Organizational Skills with the Ability to Monitor the Entire Dining Area
Requirements:
- Evening Availability
- Weekend Availability
- 6 Hour Standing Shifts
