What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Software Engineer position at Gabriel Talent Consulting?
AI Software Engineer / Architect
Location: Miami, FL
**Relocation offered
The Company: Transforming how millions of people across Latin America learn English and advance their careers. We're building technology that makes high-quality education more accessible, engaging, and effective.
About the Role
This role will be rebuilding a learning platform from scratch.
Multiple legacy systems. One modern architecture. AI is part of both the product and the way we build it.
We're looking for a senior engineer who wants to own architecture, ship code, and work directly with leadership. This is a small, highly autonomous team with no PM layer, no separate QA team, no waiting for someone else to make decisions.
If you're excited by greenfield builds, agentic workflows, and moving quickly, you'll probably enjoy this role.
What You'll Do
- Design and build a unified LMS platform from the ground up.
- Define the architecture, APIs, authentication, content model, and deployment workflows.
- Use AI agents as part of the development process — code generation, review, testing, and iteration.
- Integrate with AWS, Salesforce, NetSuite, Zuora, and payment infrastructure across the US and LATAM.
- Own quality and delivery end-to-end.
- Help establish the technical patterns the rest of the engineering team will follow.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience building AI-native applications.
- Hands-on work with LLM orchestration and agentic frameworks.
- Comfort using tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar frontier tooling as part of your daily workflow.
- Solid AWS infrastructure experience.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Zuora, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to operate in a flat, high-autonomy environment.
- English fluency required. Spanish is a strong plus.
The ideal candidate has experience with…
- EdTech or AI tutoring products.
- Consumer learning or mobile app experience.
- K–12 or child-safety-focused products.
- Gamification systems (streaks, XP, leaderboards, engagement loops).
- Real-time video, streaming, or interactive platform experience.
