Location: Houston, TX

Onsite Position. Full-time schedule Monday through Friday.

Job Overview

We are in need of an experienced Senior Electrical Estimation Manager to assist with a variety of large-scale construction projects, focusing mainly on the expanding data center industry. Projects also include work in chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, and other industrial sectors.

This role provides the opportunity to contribute to complicated electrical construction nationwide, collaborating with teams in engineering, procurement, and construction to develop precise and competitive estimates.

Data center experience is not mandatory. We are looking for electrical estimators with solid construction backgrounds to bring their expertise to this growing sector.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed estimates for complex construction projects.

• Analyze project scope, requirements, and bid documents.

• Calculate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.

• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes for accuracy and competitiveness.

• Work closely with various teams during the bidding process.

• Examine labor productivity, material pricing, and project-specific costs.

• Participate in pre-bid meetings and project walkdowns.

• Develop bid packages and proposal documentation.

• Maintain cost data and enhance estimating accuracy.

Requirements

• Experience in electrical construction estimating within industrial or commercial construction.

• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

• Knowledge of electrical materials and construction labor.

• Experience with cost estimating and subcontractor evaluations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with estimating software preferred.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.

• Data center construction experience is a bonus.

• Ability to travel as needed.
