Radar System Engineer
Responsibilities:
· Expertise in weather radar and processing weather radar data
· Creation and analysis of link budgets
· Analysis and simulation of radar systems
· Developing System Requirements and Subsystem Requirements Flowdown
· Creating Compliance Matrices
· Developing Verification Plans for Systems and Subsystems
· Conducting Verification Testing
· Developing and maintaining schedules, implementing workarounds to meet deadlines
· Designing Software/Firmware System Architecture and conducting Verifications
· Keeping updated on new technology and competitor products, contributing articles to promote company capabilities
· Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand R&D
· Growing the team through recruitment, as well as mentoring and training
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Engineering with focus on remote sensing and a decade of relevant experience
Candidate must be a US citizen and work a minimum of 40 hours per week in the office due to company size
