Occupational Therapist – Outpatient – Full Time – Days FLEX
Professional opportunity for an Occupational Therapist specializing in Outpatient care. This role involves assessing the physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of patients. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, educating students and the community, and supervising assistants. The ideal candidate will be proactive in skill development and staying current with industry research to deliver personalized care.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to create individualized therapy plans targeting daily living skills and overall functionality improvement.
- Create and execute customized therapy programs based on patient assessments, focusing on rehabilitation, adaptation, and motor skill enhancement.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy plans for optimal recovery and goal achievement.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure integrated care and positive patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on strategies for independence, daily activity management, and adaptive equipment usage for improved quality of life.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Education: Completion of an accredited occupational therapy Bachelors program.
- Licensure: Active NY State licensure
- Previous Occupational Therapy experience preferred
Location and Travel Requirements:
- Duties may involve repetitive hand and finger use, lifting light loads, stooping, kneeling, sitting, walking, or standing for extended periods. Must be physically capable of operating job-related equipment.

- Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week. Anticipated flexible day schedule within clinic operating hours.

Pay Range Disclosure:
