LOCATION: Rockaway, NJ – This hybrid position requires at least three days in-office per week. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance or be open to relocating independently.
ROLE: Under the supervision of the Enterprise Systems Director, the Developer will enhance system functionality, address technical issues, ensure quality and reliability, and contribute to delivering solutions that align with evolving business requirements. Collaborating with an experienced Enterprise Systems team within a mature E1 environment, the Developer will directly support core business initiatives.
IDEAL PROFILE: With at least 3 years of professional experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) environments supporting multiple modules, the ideal candidate should possess hands-on expertise in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development, able to make immediate contributions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with business users to comprehend requirements and develop solutions using Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1).
- Customize and update E1 applications and programs using FDA, UBE, NER, and C BSFN.
- Create and maintain reports utilizing Developer Toolkit, Enterprise Report Writer, BI Publisher, and other relevant tools.
- Address and rectify program issues by collaborating with E1 team members.
- Develop, test, and upkeep high-quality code following Oracle E1 development standards.
- Engage in code reviews, development tests, and user acceptance tests to ensure solution efficacy.
- Monitor scheduled tasks and analyze E1 and JAS logs to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Support project planning by defining development tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
IDEAL BACKGROUND:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) development, enhancement, and support.
- Proficiency in developing and modifying applications using FDA, UBEs, C BSFNs, NERs, OMW, UDOs, Orchestrator, and Retrofit.
- Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2.
- Hands-on experience with key business modules like SOP, Procurement, Inventory, and Financials.
- Experience with Embedded BI Publisher and database scripting.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with both business users and technical team members.
- Experience with BSSV, IBM Blue Stack, or CNC is advantageous.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
