**** No Relocation. Must be a resident of the greater DAVENPORT, IA (QUAD CITIES AREA)
Deliver maintenance services for medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) at a manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Experience in Field Service within the Medical Device sector is preferred. You will be maintaining automated robotic lab instrumentation in the wider DAVENPORT, IA area while possessing a strong background in electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related field.
- Strong skills in electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
- Availability for overnight travel.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
- Experience with medical lab analyzers or medical instrumentation is advantageous.
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination.
Responsibilities:
- Manage installation, maintenance, and preventive care of the instrumentation.
- Build strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate issue resolution within the Field Support Group.
- Manage vehicle inventory, including tools and parts.
- Provide basic on-site training on company instrumentation operation.
