We’re recruiting for a Commercial Construction Project Manager opportunity in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Our client is open to both Project Manager and Senior Project Manager level candidates, depending on experience.

This is a growth-related opportunity with an established design-build construction firm focused on commercial and industrial projects, including educational facilities, churches, and other non-residential construction. Residential construction experience alone will not be a fit.
The Project Manager will lead construction projects from planning through closeout, working closely with clients, field leaders, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver safe, high-quality work on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities Include
- Manage commercial and industrial construction projects from kickoff through completion
- Serve as a key contact for clients, subcontractors, field teams, and internal leadership
- Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, change orders, billing documents, and project records
- Review drawings, scopes of work, contracts, specifications, and project requirements
- Lead project meetings, track progress, resolve issues, and keep stakeholders informed
- Monitor subcontractor performance, job costs, safety, quality, and compliance
- Support, mentor, and coordinate project teams to drive accountability and results
- Hands-on commercial or industrial construction project management experience
- Background with a commercial design-build contractor strongly preferred
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Adobe, and Timberline/Sage preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, scopes, and contracts
- Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Degree in construction management, engineering, civil engineering, or a related field preferred
