Controls Automation Engineer position in Boston, MA focusing on Manufacturing Systems Controls Design and Support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include:
- Designing, integrating, and maintaining manufacturing equipment controls systems, automation, interfaces, and communication networks following senior engineers’ guidance
- Experience with technologies like:
- Rockwell RSLogix 5, 500, 5000, Studio
- Rockwell RS View, Factory Talk Studio
- Wonderware System Platform, InTouch, InBatch, and Historian
- Rockwell PowerFlex Variable Frequency Drives
- Rockwell Point IO and Flex IO systems
- Additional knowledge of:
- Industrial sensors and valves
- Microsoft SQL
- AutoCAD
- VMWare Workstation Player and vSphere
- Programming languages (C , Visual Basic, Java, Python, etc.)
- Cisco networking hardware
- Available for travel to all Facilities for project work and start-ups
- Collaborating with Control Technicians for troubleshooting and training
- Building relationships with Plant Operations team to enhance systems architecture and productivity
- Providing support for local Operations’ electrical and automation systems
- Creating manuals for Maintenance department on automation systems
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be open to flying on commercial flights
