We’re looking for a Dining Services Director / Culinary Director who believes that food is more than nourishment—it’s an experience. In this role, you’ll bring creativity, hospitality, and leadership together to create unforgettable dining moments for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Guide the day‑to‑day flow of dining services with energy, efficiency, and heart.
- Make sure meals are beautifully presented and served on time—hot foods hot, cold foods cold, and everything delicious.
- Keep a well‑stocked kitchen with reliable food and supply ordering.
- Maintain emergency food reserves (just in case).
Team Inspiration & Leadership
- Recruit, train, and mentor a passionate culinary team.
- Create schedules that support teamwork and smooth service.
- Provide ongoing training that empowers growth and excellence.
Menu Creativity & Resident Preferences
- Partner with dietitians to design menus that are nutritious and exciting.
- Ensure resident preferences, cultural flavors, and seasonal foods shine.
- Share menus (and substitutions) clearly and keep organized records.
Safety & Standards Excellence
- Maintain a spotless kitchen and uphold all local, state, and federal safety standards.
- Lead regular safety walkthroughs and food‑storage checks.
- Keep ServSafe certification active and ensure team compliance.
Resident Engagement & Experience
- Listen to resident feedback with warmth and responsiveness.
- Support special events, themed meals, celebrations, and tray service as needed.
- Cultivate a dining environment that is joyful, respectful, and resident‑first.
Budget & Resource Management
- Oversee dining services budget to keep operations cost‑effective and efficient.
- Track purchases, inventory, and financials with care.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout kitchen and dining areas.
- Work in both warm and cool environments with standard kitchen equipment.
Pay: $68,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
