HEICO is seeking a Housekeeper for a Fulltime Direct Hire role in Hollywood, FL.

WORK HOURS: Hours 11:30 am-8 pm M-T & 10:30 am - 7 pm Friday

ROLE: The Maintenance Facilities Specialist maintains building and equipment appearance. This is accomplished through inspection, cleaning, performing minor repairs and reporting service issues to the Facilities Manager. Maintains inventory levels, responds to service request and provides daily/weekly reports to the Facilities Manager and Facilities Lead.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Maintains cosmetic appearance of building structures, equipment and spaces to include; cleaning, sanding, staining and painting.
• Mop floors and vacuum carpets daily.
• Cleans all bathroom fixtures, walls and equipment.
• Ensures all isles and doorways are free of debris.
• Visually inspects interior ceilings and walls for water leaks on a daily basis, reports any issues to the Facilities manager and/or Team Lead.
• Performs interior and exterior window cleaning.
• Maintains Housekeeping cleaning supply inventory.
• High dust all offices, cubicles and common area spaces.
• Clean A/C vent covers.
• Inspects exterior break area, entryways, sidewalks and dock for cleanliness, power washes as needed.
• Visually inspect all lighting in administrative spaces, offices and common areas daily and reports to Facility manager and team lead.
• Perform other task as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 1 years of janitorial/ maintenance experience required.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE OR ABILITIES

• Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to use basic math.
• Reasoning Abilities: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, strict attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize as necessary.
• Technical Skills: Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in facilities work, such as operation of floor cleaners and buffers, pressure washers, pallet jacks, vacuums & dollies.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, squat, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The Team Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May work with toxic or caustic chemicals.
