In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, applying, and finishing epoxy flooring systems across various residential and commercial projects. Duties
- Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing to ensure optimal adhesion of epoxy coatings.
- Mix and apply epoxy resins accurately according to project specifications and safety guidelines.
- Use hand tools and power tools to install flooring, trim, caulking, and fixtures as needed for seamless finishes.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and floor plans to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Perform damage restoration tasks, including surface cleaning, sealing, and repair to restore flooring integrity.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and surface finishing to achieve a professional appearance.
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects involving tile laying, cabinet installation, or concrete finishing to ensure cohesive project execution.
Experience
- Experience in flooring installation, epoxy coating application, or related construction work a plus.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in flooring and surface preparation.
- Experience in restoration industry tasks such as water damage restoration or floor care maintenance is a plus.
- Prior handyman experience or skills in caulking, fixture installation, or trim carpentry will enhance your effectiveness on the job.
