As a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout the trip. You will be a vital part of our team, offering excellent customer service and building strong relationships with our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
- Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle when needed.
- Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, clean, and ready for use.
- Verify patient appointments and transportation details before departure.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding pick-up and drop-off times, route changes, and any other relevant information.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation, including trip logs and vehicle inspections.
- Provide compassionate care and excellent customer service to patients.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass Background Check and Drug Test
- Prior experience in transportation or customer service is a plus.
- Must pass/complete company provided certification.
- Ability to assist patients with mobility challenges when necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred, but not required).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
