Job Summary

The Teacher will play a crucial role in early intervention strategies and literacy education, ensuring that all students receive the support they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress, including standardized testing.
- Provide individualized support for students requiring early intervention or additional assistance.
- Foster a love for physical education through engaging activities and lessons.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support student development.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- High School Diploma or a GED Certificate
- 90 hours of MSDE Childcare courses or hold their CDA Credential OR hold an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education
- 1 year of Experience in Childcare OR 1 year of College
- ADA Training
- Breastfeeding Practices Training
- Basic Health and Safety Training
- CPR Certification
