What are the responsibilities and job description for the High Voltage Battery Test Technician (2nd Shift) position at G-TECH Services?
11 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
This individual will be responsible for test execution of high-voltage EV batteries, including:
- Setting up and instrumenting devices under test (DUTs)
- Monitoring tests in chambers
- Performing initial inspections
- Disassembling or building battery packs from scratch
- Supporting engineering staff
- Fabrication work (modifying packs or building fixtures)
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Basic Mechanical Skills
- Ability to perform physical duties involving large and heavy high voltage batteries including movement, shipping, and disposal
- Detail oriented - Ability to maintain records on work performed including data collected or analyzed
- Good written and verbal communication skills - Maintain and communicate findings with engineering personnel through verbal or written means
