District Sales Managers in the Phone Zone are responsible for managing a designated territory of Remote Contact Dealers. In this role, you will act as a strategic consultant, partnering with dealers to develop and execute effective business plans that drive sales performance and operational success.
You will work closely with dealership teams and support a wide range of initiatives, including market analysis, inventory management, customer retention strategies, digital marketing efforts, and overall sales performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with dealers to coach, consult, and support the achievement of monthly and annual sales objectives, as well as broader business goals
- Assist in resolving dealer and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure dealer adherence to company programs, policies, and procedures
- Support inventory management, including vehicle ordering and stock optimization strategies
- Maintain strong knowledge of products, services, customer profiles, and competitive market offerings
- Analyze sales performance, local market trends, registration data, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities
- Provide guidance on improving customer retention, satisfaction, and dealership loyalty
- Support and help implement dealership-level digital marketing and advertising initiatives
- Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and remote customer engagement activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience in a dealership or related field will be considered
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
- Strong ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining effectiveness
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize high-impact activities
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
- Ability to influence and collaborate with business partners
- Demonstrated sound judgment with the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to develop, maintain, and analyze data
Preferred Qualifications
- Automotive or dealership experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service
- Willingness to relocate and flexibility to move for career opportunities
