Quality Assurance (QA) Manager (On-Site Position)
Location: Pico Rivera, CA (On-site)

Compensation: $95,000 – $110,000 per year (DOE)

De Silva Brothers & Company is a Los Angeles–based spice manufacturing and CPG firm committed to delivering safe, consistent, and high-quality products. We are seeking a QA Manager to oversee food safety, compliance, and quality systems across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead food safety and quality programs (FDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP, FSMA).
- Manage audits, certifications, and compliance documentation.
- Develop and enforce SOPs across production, packaging, and warehouse.
- Investigate quality issues and lead corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Train and mentor QA staff and production teams on food safety practices.
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory inspectors and auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of QA/QC experience in food manufacturing (spices/seasonings a plus).
- Knowledge of FDA, USDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP, and FSMA regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Preferred Certifications
- SQF Practitioner Certification
- PCQI Certification
- HACCP Certification
