Carpenter Helper/Laborer
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Carpenter Helper/Laborer to join our construction team. In this role, you will assist experienced carpenters with residential and commercial construction projects, help prepare and maintain job sites, handle materials, and support a variety of carpentry and general construction tasks.

Responsibilities
- Prepare job sites by cleaning work areas and setting up ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment as needed.
- Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood and other construction materials.
- Safely use hand tools and power tools, including drills, saws, hammers, screwdrivers, and chisels.
- Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and equipment.
- Assist with siding, trim carpentry, flooring, fixture installation, and other finish work.
- Assist with caulking, stucco, mold remediation, demolition, remodeling, and related construction tasks.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or lead carpenters.
Qualifications
- Previous construction or residential carpentry experience is highly preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced carpenters and supervisors.
- Familiarity with common hand and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of construction materials, including framing lumber, siding, drywall compounds, plaster, and stucco.
- Understanding of construction-site safety practices and proper tool handling.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Reliable transportation.
