H&W Construction is seeking a dependable and motivated Carpenter Helper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will assist with residential and commercial construction projects, perform basic carpentry tasks, and work safely and efficiently under the supervision of senior carpenters and project managers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with framing, drywall, flooring, trim, and general carpentry work
- Read and follow blueprints, measurements, and project instructions
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely
- Load and unload construction materials
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company procedures
- Work collaboratively with crew members and subcontractors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of construction or carpentry experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
- Strong work ethics and willingness to learn
