What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary finance partner to operations leadership, providing financial guidance and strategic support.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for operational business units.
- Analyze operational and financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with business teams to improve inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and cost management initiatives.
- Develop reporting and analytics related to product lines, profitability, labor efficiency, and operational KPIs.
- Lead variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to leadership teams.
- Support inventory accounting processes, including physical inventory counts, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial modeling, process improvements, and ad hoc analysis.
- Prepare monthly P&L reporting and executive-level financial summaries.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 5 years of finance, accounting, or operational finance experience.
- Strong background supporting manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or operational business environments preferred.
- Advanced SAP experience, including FI/CO modules; SAP S/4HANA experience is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management principles.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and operational reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and leadership levels.
