FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is seeking a friendly, dependable Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing outpatient physical therapy clinic in Ft. Myers. As the first person our patients interact with, you'll help create an exceptional experience while supporting our therapists and ensuring the clinic operates efficiently each day.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with a friendly, professional attitude
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions
• Register new patients and maintain accurate patient records
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Collect copays and account balances
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Communicate with patients, providers, and referral sources
• Help keep provider schedules organized and efficient
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized front office

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office, front desk, healthcare administration, or customer service role preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using EMR/EHR systems is a plus
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
• Positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service
• Healthcare experience is preferred, but we are happy to train someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
